Support Picacho State Recreation Area

Hello friends, California Parks has notified us the park is now open for camping and day use. We have also learned the Picacho Rd. bridge on the canal will be closed from September 21 through October 12. The park will remain open and accessible through the river during this time.

This is the most recent update from Sacramento. Due to a heavy influx of visitors, California State Parks has closed vehicle access to all of the 280 State Parks. Although Picacho Road is open, vehicles will not be allowed within the Park boundaries. This is effective immediately. Everyone please stay safe!
