There was a dog arrived LA 24th Oct left at the LA airport cargo area past few days with no pick up person. The adopter (two women) came from Idaho and picked up the dogs and left just now 5:30~45 am Korea Time. Our US team Susan lives in LA was there at the cargo to make sure the dogs are fine and met with the adopter. This case has become such an issue among the local activists. I am posting here and updating for you all. Thank you Dogs Without Borders for all thr kindness and Susan Campbell for being there today.

Among all the offcials from agriculture/livestock dept, construction dept, legal dept, industry dept, land dept, environement department, environment was the most cooeperative. I thanked Mr.Kim who went out to inspect the dog auction site and took immedicate action issuing the fine ticket. They needed to see the petition with over 40K signatures. We might as well do more taking this opportunity. Nami made a special request for a list of illegal dog farms, dog slaughterhouse within the city. I believe there are more than 100 illegal operations. The three hour meeting was productive.
