We have received word that the City of Long Beach is seriously considering slashing Homeland (specifically the hip hop programs) from its budget for this coming year. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE come to the Homeland Jam this Saturday, July 28th, 2012, and encourage other people (both from Long Beach and dancers from elsewhere) to attend! Long Beach city officials will be attending and they need to see how huge a reach (and a draw) Homeland and its community have on Long Beach and on the entire world!
