The Sausalito Library's no-contact curbside service is available for pickups at the far end of the parking lot behind City Hall. To request items, you can place holds using our online catalog or by calling (415) 289-4121. During the week of December 21, the hours for pickups are Tuesday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Pickups are by appointment by calling (415) 289-4121. Wait until you receive a confirmed time slot from a library staff membe...r before coming to pick up items. Please note that the library will be closed during the week of December 28. Regular curbside operations will resume on January 5. Library materials may be returned on-hours at the curbside station or at any time using the book drops located at the far end of the City Hall parking lot and on the Litho Street patio. Due to quarantine, returned materials may remain on your record for up to seven days before they are checked in. The take-and-make craft kit for December is a holiday scratch-art ornament kit. The kit is ideal for ages 4 and up, for kids and adults alike. Patrons can request a craft kit by emailing [email protected] or calling (415) 289-4121. Kits are available while supplies last. Any questions about library services during the COVID-19 outbreak may be directed to City Librarian Abbot Chambers at [email protected]. The library is unable to take donations of used books at this time.

Due to the demolition and repaving of Bee Street and the associated closure of the City Hall parking lot, the Sausalito Library's curbside pickup service will be available from City Hall's Litho Street patio during the week of November 9. Parking spaces will be blocked off on Litho Street adjacent to the patio to facilitate access. The hours for curbside pickups via Litho Street are Tuesday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Picku...ps are by appointment by calling (415) 289-4121. Please wait until you receive a confirmed time slot from a library staff member before coming to pick up items. Alternative accommodations will be available for those with concerns about parking on Litho Street, which is one of Sausalito's steepest roadways. Library materials may be returned to bins on the Litho patio during curbside hours and to the book drop adjacent to the patio at all other times. Please keep your materials if the book drop is full. Due to quarantine, returned materials may remain on your record for up to seven days before they are checked in.

For registered voters in Sausalito, in-person voting will be available at the Exercise Room on the lower level of City Hall beginning Saturday, October 31. If y...ou have a mail-in ballot, take it with you along with the return envelope; you will be given a polling-place ballot. If you do not have your vote-by-mail ballot and the return envelope, you can vote a provisional ballot. Access to the Exercise Room is via the exterior entrance to the Parks and Recreation Department, which is adjacent to Bee Street and the basketball court. The City Hall parking lot will be open, but the upper levels of City Hall will not be accessible to the public. Construction on Bee and Bonita streets will be adjusted to maximize street parking and public access to the polling place. The hours for in-person voting at City Hall are: * Saturday, October 31 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Sunday, November 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Monday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. * Tuesday, November 3 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Please bring a face covering with you and abide by the safety precautions that will be in place to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
