Hi all!!! I have started a Facebook Group where I would love to see you all!! https://www.facebook.com/groups/137047001051961 My sincere hope and vision for the group is that myself, my appointed mods, admin, volunteers, fans and friends, will be a kind, caring, compassionate and knowledgeable resource for you all. They are knowledgeable about what I teach and how I advocate proper care through my Youtube Channel. They also know I teach with kindness and walk that walk. ...I feel very strongly about not ever letting anyone tell you that it is their way or the highway. There appear to be attempts in certain guinea pig groups to control information, deleting what does not agree with the "rules" and removing any posts not in line with what groups admin has decided is the one and only truth. Meaning, you don't even get to see opposing views! Some of these groups have grown quite large. The manipulation and withholding of information is not a good thing. This is wrong in so many ways, free speech not allowed in fact. I encourage you all to make up your own mind when it comes to guinea pig care info. If that includes not agreeing with me that is totally fine. You are welcome to discuss your grievances here as well. Differences too can be discussed respectfully, and in doing so you will likely come away with a nice feeling in the heart rather than a negative energy. Just because we don't all agree doesn't mean we can't be friends. Talk to everyone and then make up your own mind from the research you did. This is how it is supposed to be done Not all answers you will receive here are coming from one of the mods, admin, volunteers or other friends of LAGPR. So check if it was a mod or admin who answered. Good news is though that most members are familiar with my channel and have watched a lot of the videos. they may be able to help just fine due to the knowledge they have gained in that process. I only ask one thing and that is that everyone conducts themselves honorably and with compassion. Ouchie! So may advice groups on FB! Which one to pick? They come in all sizes an flavors and some have become a police state that censors every post they do not agree with and this control the narrative and push an agenda that is not necessarily in the best interest of the guinea pigs. The only solution I could think of was to create our own group where the "rules" are currently actually non existing and no silly questions asked to be allowed to join.
