If I was a furniture maker, I would surely duplicate this little foot stool. It came with my cabin and was under appreciated. As I tore off the thin red plastic vinyl that had been nailed onto it, I discovered the hidden wicker braid. It doesn’t have a maker stamp, but it’s so well made. The legs are metal painted a yellow (faded w/age). The original horse hair padding was covered w/threadbare upholstery. It must be 100 years old. My newfound upholsterer, Pete’s upholstery in Tulare far exceeded my expectations with this scrap of tooled leather I have stored for years. Wish I had take a before picture.
