The morning star rising paved the way to her freedom and as the planets turned her faith was sealed. The noose around her neck no longer stood for her downfall, the darkness and despair. One with her past she turned the her wounds of war and love in to decorations of determination. - First pass on healed hawk, second session to add rope, wing and tail. Third pass to come to smoothen shading and to add details and opaques. Following the form of her body the wings flow huggin...g her curves and the tail complimenting the shape on the butt. For women and men alike following the shape of the body and enhancing the features is one of the main elements of my work. Large projects like this usually take me 2-3 days to finish. Wings and rope have a lot of details and require a lot of attention to detail. For all inquiries please email me and my assistant Eryn at Sara.fabel.tattoo @ gmail.com or click contact link on bio.

Leg sleeve predrawn concept up for grabs. Inspired by Middle Ages, the Black Plague and inventions of modern medicine. Also visually drawing from the alternative world in the movie Franklyn (2008) that is one of my favorite steampunk sci-fi movies. / as the days start slowly cooling I am back in to drawing instead of getting lost in the woods. Winters are for work and hermit hibernation, summers for daydreaming and naps in the shade. / I am booking for late winter and 2021. Me and my assistant Eryn are answering all inquiries about tattoos via email at [email protected]

Tigers are the largest of all cat species. The Amur or Siberian tiger is the largest subspecies of the Panthera genus, known to weigh up to 800 lbs (360 kg), while large African lions weigh up to 550 lbs (250 kg). Even tho solitary animals the tigers are forced into unnatural situations where they are to share or stay-put under certain areas in a man-made environment, that’s when they are called as ambush or streak, even a Tigress with their cubs is called an ambush. Tiger cu...bs are born blind and only open their eyes 1-2 weeks after birth. Due to this only a few survive often dying of hunger or cold. Some even get eaten by male Tigers to make the Tigress available for mating. Tigers can also mates with other big cats, for example, if a male Tiger mates with female Lion, the hybrid born animal is known as Tigon. They are the largest cat species and can grow bigger than Liger which is a mix breed of male Lion and female Tiger. The height of a Liger is about 4.5 feet while on all four legs and about 6 feet tall when standing. Tiger and rose morph design was done on a medium tone skin during a one full day session. Machine used @bishoprotary packer wand and their 3rl cartridge needles.

If the fields could speak they would whisper tales of the winds. Echos carried from flutter of wings as flocks of birds dance among the hay. In moments of serenity the world stands still. There is harmony within the silence as and conductor of night awakens its orchestra. As I watch the day die and the sun slumber behind the hills each instrument begins to find its note. An opening act of quartets of crickets. Like tightly winded strings their legs chant the lullaby of nightfall. I wear the darkness as a cape of tranquility giving me the ability to find the world beyond sights. Be still my mind and blossom like the night blooming jasmine opening its petals only after the scarlet skies pale from the glow of the silver moon.

Healed zebra, magnolias and kitten rose. First session was done back in January (kitten rose). Originally Asher wanted only the kitten rose morph, from there we continued with another one of my predrawns (zebra on magnolias). Final session I added more magnolias to tie the two pieces together. This has been one of my absolute favorite projects. I will be drawing more predrawns next week. Predrawns are designs I have created and will put up for discounted rates. These are ready made ideas that I can sometimes manipulate and always continue to larger projects. What ideas and concepts would you like to see?

Did you know a group off zebras is called a dazzle? This name also refers to a unique phenomenon called motion dazzle, an optical illusion that occurs when groups of zebra move quickly together. According to researchers, motion dazzle has a big benefits for zebras: the visual illusions caused by the stripes and moving zebras confuse the visual fields of other mammals, including predators, increasing the chances for zebras to escape. Every zebra has a unique pattern of str...ipes. And scientists can use the patterns like bar codes to identify individuals in a herd and keep track of them over time. These days, special software can scan images of zebras and identify individuals by reading their stripes like bar codes. Zorses, zedonks and zonies. Zebras can breed with other members of the horse family. The offspring come in an amazing variety of semi-striped patterns, and are usually sterile (meaning they can’t have young). Zorses are the offspring of horse stallions and zebra mares. Zedonks are the products of zebra stallions and donkey mares. Zonies come from zebras and ponies. A large healed black and grey side piece on Asher. This design in total was 3 sessions. Tattoo done with using @bishoprotary packer wand. Also thank you to @stencilstuff for all the stenciling needs.

One thing that I have learned throughout this time of isolation and on and off shutdowns is that I undervalued my own personal time; time to hike, take a break and moments spend in silence without any objectives. I always thought you needed to work yourself sick while you were still young, but all the sudden the realization of time catching up creeps on you in surprise. All the sudden the years you spends working 70h weeks turn in to moment is self validation; more you worked..., more value you had. If anything, what I am taking away from all of this extra time during this summer is that maybe it’s time to find worth outside merits that you’ll always end up chasing and never achieving, but rather find worth in how good of a friend you can be and how much inner growth you are able to achieve. I am sure so many people have had to reevaluate their standing this summer both within their place in the society, work and circles of friends and family. Take care of each other and check in with those in your life. It never hurts to send a friendly reminder that somebody is valued and thought of. See more

I started the Layla’s upper back years ago with two albino ravens. At that point she had no plans to extend the tattoo. Later on the project was extended as a full back with the lantern, moths, albino chipmunks and magnolias. Two separate pieces coming together. This tattoo has been healed for a while now. A couple of years if I am correct. /// I always try and ask my clients if they think they want to eventually go for something larger specially when it comes to full backs a...nd sleeves instead of smaller pieces. So many times I tattoo something smaller, only a month later to receive an email asking if the tattoo could be extended to something far larger. As much as I am happy continuing my old designs, having done the roadmap for unified illustration will always flow smoother. I am sure other tattooers ask this in advance for the same or similar reasons. We want to produce the best possible outcome for our clients to be happy with. //// I am looking forwards to continuing old and new projects as well as creating more predrawns for full backs and sleeves. For all inquiries please email me [email protected] See more

Days when I escape the city I see the world for its beauty. The mountain trails and high peaks that with perseverance can be concurred. On the top I rest and observe the city around me. How small things from far away seem, how insignificant ones individuality is and how equally one from another is trying to make it and be heard. But on the top it is all quiet, there is no expectation, no comparison. You are merely judges by your wit to survive and ability to adapt. I cherish ...these moments and I see them for their value. As years go by I find my mind wondering to the woods and in the city I stand as an outsider, a stranger lost in an unfamiliar terrain trying to understand the tribes of modern chaos around me. Maybe it’ll always be the Finnish roots inside of me drawing me in to the wild. The mountains and lush green forests. The need and want to be one with the nature, among the tribe of people that speak in language frozen in time.

Collaboration with @ponywave done last year. Our client had send references including one of my predawns philosophers rose (last image). Pony tattooed the top part flower, where as I worked on the black and grey bottom part. I miss being able to do collaborations with artist, travel to conventions and learn different techniques. I hope the future will bring more of these moments working alongside with talented and kindhearted tattooers. @ Hollywood
