Soft opening tonight for our new endeavor! Stop by Black Sands Hula Lounge and say hello. Serving up Hawaiian small plates, noodles and tiki drinks until 9pm. Downstairs at South Beach. Thank you @SoCalLightLetters for the Aloha lighting. It added a great fun atmosphere for our opening.

We are going to be closed today (wednesday). but will be open on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4 till close. Thanks everyone.

My family just wants to thank everyone so much for the awesome messages we have received from y’all over the past couple days. It means so much to us as we have reminisced over the past 23 years. Seeing messages, from new and old customers, remembering their first Sapporo’s experiences, or expressing their sadness of our closing. We have had some fabulous times over the years, and in the end we have you to thank for all of them. From the bottom of our hearts Thank You All so Very Much.

These past few weeks have been a learning process, and the hits just keep on coming. I have talked to my staff and we have decided to remain Togo orders only for the time being. With the present social distancing guidelines we can only fit 4 tables in the restaurant, and I just feel like it would be more depressing then anything else. What we have done is increase our staffing to better prepare ourselves for the busy weekends. This will help us get your Togo orders out in a more timely manner. We will constantly evaluate and try to do our best for both our staff and our customers. It’s weird times right now. That’s for sure, but I just want to let you all know how much we appreciate your continued support. It really means a lot to us. Thank you all so much.

THIS IS WHY I LOVE WORKING FOR THESE PEOPLE! I told Joe he made some mistakes on the new menu with pricing. Any 3 entrees on a combo dinner $13.95, any 2 only $10.95. He says "we are not going full staff so I am passing on the savings to our customers." THEY SUFFER FROM SINCERE KINDNESS.

Hey everyone! We are opening back up for business!!! Starting Friday at 4 we are going to be doing Togo orders. We will have nightly Togo beer and sake specials.... I have decided to close up until further notice. We have been open for the past week with little success, but the main fact is that it’s tough for me possibly putting my staff at risk to try and stay open. Everything keeps changing in a daily basis, so we will see. Thanks everyone and we will be back open as soon as possible.
