We are coming up on the 5 year anniversary of the death of Vincent Cruz Hanshi! I was recently a guess, in a virtual Black Belt College Training, conducted by t...he organization he founded ISKA! His group, under the direction and leadership of Rick Llewelyn Hanshi, Robert Stevenson Hansh iand Laura Lorenz Sensei, continues with his vision and purpose. It was a sad day on December 24, 2015 when word went out to his many friends and followers that he had passed on to the other side. I found this tribute video that I want to share with this group. Note: He was one of the original US Air Force, SAC Airmen, that were sent to Japan to study Karate and Judo at the Kodokan in the early 1950's. You will see that some of this footage were shot on various Air Force Bases! Cruz Hanshi was know as the Father of Shotokan Karate in Panama where he was stationed for many years! See more
