EXTRAORDINARY DAY ON ST. VINCENT ISLAND (Monday, April 12) Huge eruption blasts have been occurring in rapid sequence at La Soufriere, some extending beyond 40,...000 feet above the volcano. The last two days have been wrought with numerous hot density currents (pyroclastic flows) flowing down the flanks of La Soufriere into the Red Zone.
