There are a lot of misconceptions about lip reading for Deaf people. It is said, that at the best, lip reading is 40% effective... and that is with a lot or oral language training.

Hello Mamas! We have a few spots remaining in an upcoming Baby Sign Language class that will be on Fridays at 11a-12p in Capitola. The class will start Oct 25th and there are 6 one hour classes for $100 per baby/parent pair. Let me know if you are interested!

Hello Mamas and Papas! I have an upcoming sign language class which will held on Wednesdays at 11:15-12:15p starting July 10th (for 6 weeks) at La Selva Beach's Clubhouse. The cost is $100 for each parent/baby pair ($50 more for a second adult). Let me know if you'd like to join!

It is NEVER too early to sign with your hearing or deaf baby!
