Went to a new hiking place in Ventura. Lots of fun Harmon Canyon.
This ban on the most dangerous rodenticides is great news for protecting pets and wildlife.
Devil’s Punchbowl Nature Center was destroyed by the bobcat fire, north side of the San Gabriels. It was a totally unique special place. All the animals were ev...acuated and are safe. Olivia is devastated but fortunately she is a strong, resilient woman. Pictures are from when she hosted Placerita Cyn Nature Center docents for a hike into the punchbowl. See more
It’s crazy bad out there
ACTION ALERT A destructive 375-home project is up for review before the Santa Clarita Planning Commission on August 18th. This proposed project is located at Bouquet Canyon Road and David Way. It is going to add a substantial amount of traffic which will impact everyone. It will also require removal of over 2 million cubic yards of earth from a City-designed Significant Ridgeline and destroy a pristine riparian habitat and critical water recharge area. Comments from community... members are needed. It is critical that the Commissioners see that the community does not support this project...or it will be approved. Letters can be sent to the Planning Commission Email below: Associate Planner Hai Nguyen [email protected] KHTS reported on this project: From KHTS: https://www.hometownstation.com//375-home-bouquet-canyon-p
