<3 These are a few of our favorite things...

We are so proud of our young virtuosi! What a memorable concert yesterday at UCSB's Lotte Lehmann Hall. The Juniors played with beautiful sound, great ensemble, and best of all, they captured the spirit of each piece!( Telemann, Vivaldi, Albeniz and Johann Strauss) And all without a conductor! Special congratulations to our concertmasters, principals and soloists. Camille Miller transported everyone with an exquisite performance with the Juniors accompanying ( Vivaldi D Major Largo). We all floated out of the hall. After intermission the Virtuoso Strings outdid themselves with Vivaldi, Respighi and a fun ( and brilliant!) performance of Leroy Anderson's Fiddle Faddle. Bravo to all. Next concert: January 15th, 3 pm, with Ernest Richardson conducting Grieg's Holberg Suite, Barber Adagio and more.

Bravissimo to all of our chamber musicians who performed in our concert tonight at Fe Bland Forum! We had a wonderful audience and it was a lovely evening filled with Mozart, Schubert, Wieniawski, Arensky, and Mendelssohn.
