In other ...words, insurance officials are practicing medicine without accepting the professional, personal or legal liability that comes with the territory. I had an insurance company tell me that they wouldn’t pay for a procedure because the tooth should be extracted! I didn’t know we took away patient’s choice. What makes it worst, is the insurance company tries to make the treating doctors look like the bad guys. Go to one of our doctors that is in your network... Can you say conflict of interest. They ended up covering it! It took 3 appeals and 8 months later.
