During the pandemic, I will be highlighting our Sunnyvale restaurants that are still providing takeout and/or delivery. PLEASE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL RESTAURANTS! ... For lunch today, I enjoyed takeout from Sankranti South Indian Cuisine [727 South Wolfe Road, in the shopping center along Old San Francisco Road]. I have been to their banquet meeting room several times, but this is the first time I’ve had their takeout. I ordered their Vijayawada Chicken Biryani (marinated boneless chicken in a medium spicy sauce which is then added to a flavorful bed of rice), Butter Chicken, and their tasty garlic naan. It was all VERY good. Sankranti has a wide selection of Indian food, and they had a popular lunch buffet (before the shelter in place). They are open everyday from 11:30am-3pm and 4-10pm.
