From Megan and Ike - We love to get out in the backcountry and have been looking for ways to do this with a proper set up that allows for some level of creature comforts, i.e., hot shower, refrigerator so we can spend more time out in the woods.After doing a bit of research on off-road campers we honed in on the TetonX campers.Why?First, because they are located close by in St. George Utah.Second, it’s a really smart design with just about everything you might need t...o get you out in the backcountry for 2 weeks.Solar charging, 20 gallon water tank w/ running water for the kitchen and hot showers, stove, interior and exterior lights, standing height inside, and plenty of storage. Probably our favorite feature is that is uses the Max Coupler hitch for towing which allows for the vehicle and camper to move independently- huge for navigating rough terrain!We rented this trailer from a fantastic guy here in LA from the site Outdoorsy.We actually had a chance to stop in on the road trip and connect with owners/builders of TetonX, Kyle and Lindsay, to chat about the their business and their design.They are awesome and truly care about the work they are doing.They put a ton of thought behind their builds and this shows as their campers are in seriously high demand and backordered for at least the next 12 months or so.We think what makes the TetonX builds so great is that Kyle and Lindsay are scratching their own itch and iterate the design based on their own use.As avid adventurists and mtb’ers they truly understand who they are building these campers for.We’re excited to move more into the overland lifestyle and have found the overland tribe to be super welcoming, helpful and full of stoke just like our eMTB tribe.We’re looking forward to seeing more of these two communities crossing over. . . . #ebike #ebikes #mountainbike #mtb #emtb #bikelife #girlswhobike #mtbgir #adventurebiking #overlanding4x4 #overlanding #camperlife #tetonx See more

Many of you are familiar with Fly Rides’ COO, Max Shenk, but you may not know that just last year he thought he may never be able to bike, hike, or just be active again. While playing soccer he sustained a devastating knee injury that totally put him out of commission. It was an incredibly painful and frustrating time for him and very a long road to recovery. In our latest video, Max opens up about his experience and his recovery, and how his eBike played a massive role ...in his physical therapy.
