Every year, our San Diego Asian Youth Organization (SDAYO) raises money and collects bags of rice for distribution to our Immigrant and Refugee families in the community during Thanksgiving. Rice is a vital part of the Asian culture and other ethnic cultures so for several years, we've held our SDAYO Thanksgiving Drive. Last year, we collected a record breaking 36,000 lbs of rice that we were able to distribute to more than 1200 deserving families. This year our goal is to surpass that number so that we can serve more families. Thank you very much in advance for your generous donations. #CommunityStrong #PayItForward

Thank you San Diego Asian Youth for volunteering at the 2018 - Face-lift projects this morning. You've helped made our community beautiful and clean.

Our wonderful youth members from the San Diego Asian Youth Organization volunteered at Bright Futures 5K- Kids 4 Community early this morning. The organization raised funds to help low income and our homeless population in San Diego. All proceeds going to interfaith community Services.

After almost 3 years with our MCCRO family, our beloved Thanh Ly will be leaving us for the City Clerk’s office. Thank you to Chief Nisleit, Asst. Chief Connel...ly, Capt. Underwood, A/Lt. SDAYO spent this past weekend volunteering at 2 local community events: Light the Night against Crime 5K and Fall Back Festival ! Thank you our wonderful youths for volunteering !

Did you know the Multi-Cultural Community Relations Office is taking registration for Toys for Tots? It is open to all local low-income families living in San Diego County with their children up to 12 years old. The Toys for Tots Registration is OPEN NOW until Wednesday, November 8th at 4pm at the Multi-Cultural Community Relations Office. Come and register with us!

Receiving our first large delivery of rice donations for our annual SDAYO Thanksgiving Rice Drive. A total of 4000 lbs! Dear Amazing Walk4ALZ Volunteers, We cannot thank you enough for your help on Saturday at the Balboa Park Walk4ALZ! Not only did you get up early, brave the morning chill and arrive with smiles on your faces, but you filled every volunteer position with enthusiasm and friendliness. I have heard countless compliments about how amazing you all were. So far we have raised $593,845 toward our goal of $700,000 for both walks. Donations are still coming in, so we expect to meet th...at goal soon. I say this every year, but we could not have done it without you! Volunteers like you are the heart and soul of this organization. Your dedication and passion at Walk4ALZ was evident, and was what made all of our participants feel so special, happy and celebrated.
