Tiles can be purchased online or at school in front of the Main Gate before and after school from May 24th - 27th. The Sandburg Foundation will be creating a Memory Wall on campus to commemorate the 2020-2021 school year. In lieu of a yearbook, we would like to invite all Sandburg families and staff to take part in this project and make the walls of Sandburg something special for many generations to come and enjoy. Good afternoon, The San Diego Unified School District will be holding a series of Special Education Extended School Year (ESY) Question and Answer Zoom meetings for parents leading up to the start of ESY which begins on 6/21 and ends on 7/16 (4 weeks) for K-8 and ends on 7/30 (6 weeks) for 9-12+. The next scheduled Q&A meeting is this coming Wednesday, May 19th from 12:00-1:00 pm. The Zoom meetings will have a maximum of 300 participants for each meeting.

Good Morning Sandburg Tiger Families! Mira Mesa High school will be hosting a vaccine clinic for all students, families, staff and communitiy members who are age 12 years and older. The vaccine clinic will be from 10:00AM-4:30PM on Tuesday, May 18th at Mira Mesa High School. Please see the attached flyer for more information. Mira Mesa Covid Vaccine Clinic ... This evening, all families will also be receiving an email from the district for the district summer school open enrollment that begins today. The Elementary Summer Experience is being offered onsite and online. The elementary summer experience is our summer school academic program and brings the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park to life through an interdisciplinary project focused on the integration of science, math, and literacy throughout the day. Classes are taught by San Diego Unified educators at designated school sites. Education specialists will be assigned to sites to help support staff in meeting the needs of all learners. Extended School Year (ESY) services will be provided at pre-identified school sites to students who have ESY services as part of their Individualized Education Program (IEP). The Elementary Summer Experience will go from June 21 - July 16, 4 hours and 20 minutes per day. The email you will receive this evening will include the enrollment link for the summer experience.
