Those intellectuals wishing to learn Hinduism systemically, this is a great course being offered for free and is conducted locally. Please pass it to others. HCI is now entering a significant phase in our launch of dial-in services to the community, along with the launch of CHT Course 3. On October 4, we are launching our third cohort for the Counselor fo Hindu Tradition course. We would like to invite members of your network to consider joining this unique program. ... Would you please consider joining us and recommending 1or 2 friends to this cohort? We are also accepting candidates from India this year. We are hosting Open House sessions every week (see below), and we encourage interested persons to join these conversations. See our intro video at https://www.hinduci.org/learn With our launch of the first-of-a-kind Volunteer Services, the community will now have access to a live counselor over the phone on matters relating to last rites, wellness and Hindu tradition. These services are provided free, and you will be hearing more about this from us over the next few weeks.

Are a surviver of SUICIDE ideation? This request came from San Mateo county Behavioral Board. If you are interested in sharing your experience to other suicide survivors, reach out to Dilip in full confidentiality at 908-392-6798 or contact directly to below. This is the e-mail I got... "Hello EveryOne." i am john butler a resident of Menlo Park. i have been referred to You by Rev. William Kruse. i am also a member of our San Mateo County mental health community. i ...am a Lived Experience Academy graduate and facilitator. i have taken many trainings in mental health including WRAP Facilitators workshops, Photo Voice Facilitators training (and the creation of a Mental health graphic novel, which is here at: smchealth.org/comics ), and Suicide related trainings such as ASIST and Mental Health First Aide. i am a member of the Suicide Prevention Committee, a Health Equity Initiative here is SMC. i am working to develop an Event for September's Suicide Prevention Month; and so, i am writing to ask Your aide. Speakers are needed for this Event; i have a couple now including myself. This Event would involve Spirituality and the Suicide experience and survival of Suicide. i have some support on this. And i am seeking speakers to participate. My hope is there are Members of your Faith Communities who would step forward and join us in this effort to reach out to members of Faith Communities (including Your own) at large via Zoom. Some of what would be discussed via a dialogue on Zoom would be the following: I am wanting to have a conversation with others on these topics for the Event. Questions for instance: (a) why if You have a relationship with a loving God would You try and kill Yourself? Did You feel God abandoned You? (b) what happened to Your spiritual well being in the process of beginning to consider Suicide? (c) how did You feel about Your relationships with others in Your Faith Community? Did they disappoint You so You felt alone and hopeless? (d) how did You survive suicide? Did You find renewed Faith in God? i am open to questions You can suggest as well. Please reach out to me and respond with Your thoughts and opinions. Or, if You know persons who are in Your Communities, please introduce me to them; so that, we can have a dialogue on these important questions. This is an issue very close to my heart from my own experiences with Suicide. i have met some of You at various Committee meetings such as the Spirituality Initiative here in San Mateo County. You can contact me through this eMail or the following phone number: (650)842-0644 , anytime. Sincere "Thanks" and regards, ~ john )butler)
