Interesting Book: Empires in the Sky by Alexander Rose . For anyone interested in the airships behind the Graf Zeppelin stamps might want to check this out. I've not read this book, but I thought I'd bring it to stamp collectors attention. I welcome anyone who reads it to post a review.

Fascinating presentation at our meeting on Wednesday March 4th on "Errors, Freaks, and Errors" by Peter Adams. He's an expert on these and everyone is encouraged to bring an item you'd like to have him evaluate or just to show to the group. Don't forget, we now meet in the Community Room of the Pearl Ave Library at 4270 Pearl Ave at 7:00 pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

Christmas Shopping for Philatelists Shopping for stamp collectors can be challenging due to our wide and diverse collecting interests. A place to start is the USPS Gift Catalog titled "Delivering Cheer". There is a nice variety of collectibles, including toy mail vehicles, wall art, jigsaw puzzles and stationary. A variety of web sites offer an array of items with stamp themes including www.Allposters.com and https://seriouspuzzles.com/. Search "stamps" and you find a nice v...ariety of stamp themed posters and jigsaw puzzles. Most stamp collectors love books. My favorite fiction books involving stamps is Lawrence Block's "Hit" series. The many philatelic references makes reading them a lot of fun. An excellent read is "How the Post Office Created America" by Winfield Gallagher. While there are only a few references to stamps, I found a history of the Post Office is fascinating.
