What is the Board of Supervisors really concerned with? Golfing and Car races! Giving employees a fair contract..... we will see on Thursday when we next meet with the County.

Here are the documents from the settlement today. We have been told that they will be signed tomorrow and that the previously agreed upon TA’s along with this will be sent out via email as has been done through this entire process. Voting information will be coming out within the next week. Your Bargaining Team did an excellent job and is recommending a Yes vote.

Bargaining session with San Joaquin Tomorrow morning.

Bargaining meeting with County this morning. County seemed interested in what was proposed. They have indicated to your Bargaining Team that they want to bargain again tomorrow. There will be a comprehensive bargaining updated released tomorrow after that meeting with the proposals made and a recap of the meetings.

Your bargaining team will be meeting with the County today. If you recall, the County was crying that they have no money for decent raises. The County also put an additional $10million into the reserve account at the end of June. We just received word that the property tax rolls were up 7.29% which was deemed a significant increase. We can’t wait to hear how this gets spun by the County when questioned.
