We now have a workshop that assists senior citizens with problems related to mental health! Along with the North Beach Mental Health Services, we offer vectors for people to open up about their unhappiness and help on how to cope with stress, anxiety, etc. The workshops are led by Alex Liu, a Senior Behavioral Health Clinician.

Our goal is to build up a sense of community belonging with each other. We want to see an increase of community participation with our society. We want people to better understand their own position as a person, as a worker, as an immigrant and as a citizen. We educate people where and how to get help for themselves and people around them. We believe healthy people create healthier communities. We provide community services and activities included information referrals, counseling, translation, advocacy, citizenship classes, computer classes, English as a second language classes for adults and job classes. We offer interest/hobby classes such as photography, ballroom dance and origami. We provide health education such as weight loss, smoking cessation, quit gambling, dance/karaoke lessons and how to live a healthier/happier life. We offer parenting education, family support services and life skill training such as job readiness training and individual tutoring services. All money raised will be used to fund our community programs which benefit all the monolingual people in our community.
