Dear Valued Partners, We are pleased to invite you to a COVID-19 Community Update from Kaiser Permanente on Wednesday October 21, from 2 3 pm. This live session will provide an overview of the pandemic and updated information on COVID-19, what we have learned to date about the 2020 influenza season, the importance of the annual flu shot, preventive medicine, and questions. We are excited that Dr. David Bronstein, a Pediatric Infectious Disease specialist practicing wit...h Kaiser Permanente in the Antelope Valley, and Dr. William Tsung-Chie Tseng, a Hospital Internal Medicine specialist practicing with Kaiser Permanente in San Diego, are able to join us as speakers for this program. Have not previously been the recipient of a Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Award or Live Your Dream Award. Do not have a graduate degree. This has resulted in constituents reaching out to my office for help to resolve their issues. February 2020 Membership Renewals In these trying and difficult times your San Bernardino Area Chamber of Commerce has been unable (but certainly not unwilling) to fulfill many of the functions that a Chamber will normally undertake, from our social events such as Koffee Klatch, Business After Hours and Ribbon Cuttings to our larger events such as The Law Enforcement Recognition Dinner and Golf Tournament. We have, however, still been able to be relatively active in Legisla...tive Affairs taking action on a number of bills that we at the Chamber, together with our Board of Directors, have perceived to be business unfriendly or job killers. We long for the days when we can socially interact again but in the meantime over the next few weeks would like to recognize, and sincerely THANK, those members who have staunchly stood by us and renewed their memberships for 2020.
