Kids deserve a helping hand and the confidence that a scholarship can bring. Annually, I gift one or more grants to gifted students from my alma mater, Santa Monica High School. In May 2020 with your support, I supported two $1250 scholarships. In 2021 I'd like to do more and I can, with your help. My birthday is on December 25th. Yes, I am a Christmas child, born on the rarest birthday of the year. You can help me have a wonderful Xmas birthday by adding your donation in my honor to award a student(s) a great beginning to their college career. Please help me help our future leaders! Of course, your donation is fully tax deductible. Thank You! Happy Holidays!

Something remarkable has happened in the Santa Monica municipal elections. Voters have elected three Samohi natives to the Santa Monica City Council. Samohi Alumni President Phil Brock ‘71 is the top vote getter. Former ASB President Oscar de la Torre ‘90 has won a seat and Kristin McCowan ‘97 will be seated. In additIon, Christine Parra is a new council member. Her mother Alicia Vidales Stanley is from the Samohi Class of 1971. The last council member with roots from Santa Monica High School was Bob Holbrook ‘59. Congratulations to our dedicated Vikings who will be at the helm of the Santa Monica City Council. https://smmirror.com//ahead-after-thursday-vote-tally-bro/ and http://surfsantamonica.com//11_06_2020_Santa_Monica_Voters
