Eureka Camps and Academies

Eureka is taking the summer off...no camps this summer. Mrs. Richmond will be offering private guitar, piano, cooking lessons plus tutoring in math and language arts (reading, writing, grammar, spelling, etc.) Mrs. Seymour is also available for tutoring. It's only January...but we're already thinking ahead for this summer's camps and academies! Math, Writing, SAM Jam, Smart Start and our newest Eureka camp, Cooking! So many fun ideas swirling around! What a fun few days at Writing Camp.... Creek Park... Del Taco... And today's writing Inspiration Destination... Sugar and Spice Bakery! Yummy, fun, peaceful, inspiring ways to write and make writing fun!

Campers created not only their Signature Dishes, but a select few opted to brave the intensity of the Eureka Chopped Challenge! 40 minutes from start to finish to create a delicious dish using all the required ingredients... Canned tomatoes, bacon, zucchini, and Triscuits... All the Eureka chefs did such a great job on their dishes that it was hard for the judges to decide, but the winners were selected because they made fettuccine pasta *from scratch* and totally transformed the mystery basket ingredients! Congratulations to Logan and Wyatt! #chopped #foodnetwork #funforkids
