This woman is part of us and lives in our community. She is the head of household for 7 people, two generations, including her grandparents. She is without a job, a car and insurance. But you know what gives hope to people? Being seen and heard and supported. This is her Venmo account. If you have the means to send her some hope today, those funds will go straight to her. I know this sounds crazy, but if I can give you something and it will help someone else get what they need, then we will show that your needs will be covered, there is no need to live in scarcity, and we can do this together. I couldn’t have imagined what kind of support would come to @saludshoppe during a time like this. I am so appreciative (as @petakelly_ has taught me) of every order that continues to come in, as you choose to keep this brand’s heart beat going strong. I am also really inspired by the fact that we are all creating and moving energy to the places we want to see grow! Here is how me and the fam have been investing in the kind of world we want to live in: Local, fresh food...: A CSA box from @theecologycenter and produce from family owned biz, @frazierfarmsmarket has kept our bellies healthy and fed. Education: I feel like I’m in spiritual business school with all the free workshops from @holisticism . Even if you can’t make it live, the replays are emailed and yours to keep. This week my teachers were a Witch, Breathwork coach and Business and Brand guru. I can’t wait to dive into next weeks classes. Human Design Family: I finally found @theconsciousparentguide to do a chart for Nico and we use it so he can learn how to grow up unconditioned by the world. He feels *seen* even more now. Yoga, meditation + well beingness: Nico and I start our school weeks with music from @snatamkaurkhalsa and modified yoga or breath work for kiddos! He wiggles his pointer fingers and booty to the tune of I am happy, I am good, I have him sage to clear our space and he loves the ritual of journaling it out. Every Tuesday at 9:30am he gets a fun time pass so I can enjoy online classes with my beautiful friend and kundalini teacher @iamamylitteral ,he knows mama needs to get centered! Mama time: When I lived in NYC, I called my mom every day but for a few distracted nights out. I’ve called my mom every day again and my dad peppers stories with his thoughts for the day. The feminine, the masculine, the roots of my heart. Connected with my Love: My husband is a plumber and he still goes in to work every day and peels down to his towel before coming inside at the end of the day. I don’t complain. He’s a fixer.
