This picture is one of the things that we have been working towards for many years and now have a second home, and what a gift it has been. Obviously, this is quite extravagant, so I don’t think I need any more gifts this year. This home represents the time that we get to spend as a family and a time to get away and rejuvenate. Of course, it doesn’t need to be something like another home for us to enjoy. I always say we could live in a box and be just as happy as long as we’re with the ones we love. Nonetheless, it’s fun to see what hard work can pay off to give. It’s not about the building; it’s about the memories that will be made here together as a family. My hubby is doing great after his sixth back surgery. Thank you to all who have put him in your prayers and thoughts and reached out to me to see how he is doing. We are happy that the surgery has been successful in alleviating some of his leg pain. This photo was taken 20 years ago when he had his fifth back surgery. It’s fun to have a history with someone, even through the good and the bad. Life isn’t always rainbows and butterflies, but it’s still a beautiful place to be above the ground even in the darker times. I had the opportunity to spend time with this beautiful girl last week planning our big game plan for my life and my multiple businesses. One of the things that she mentioned to me during our time together was that she had a little bit of an overbite and did not want to have a surgical intervention. I had to agree with her as I’ve seen lots of people who have had jaw surgery have quite the recovery process. We were able to do some facial balancing with just a little bit of fi...ller in the chin. Some of you may have seen in recent news it's tough for celebrities to fess up to nonsurgical things that they do. As they tend to hide injectables and surgery, they usually do admit to skincare. And you can see why. It's a staple for me. Having ethnic skin, I struggle quite a bit with hyperpigmentation. I notice it commonly in many people who have ethnic skin types. It's always a chronic problem for me and an uphill battle, so I use these pads to ward off unwanted age spots and dark spo...ts that can make me look older than I am. They also brighten up my skin to give it a more even complexion. The reason we called them crack pads is that once you start, you often don't stop. I promised that I would share our staff glow-ups with you during this holiday season, and this one I love so much. Look at how a little bit of filler place properly can make a difference in softening lines and give a lifting effect. Fillers to me are magical and can sometimes act as erasers or a little tack to the cheeks. Depending on your goals in the areas that bother you, you can use anywhere from a half syringe to 10+ syringes. . It all depends on the severity of the issue you want to correct and your budget. We have officially moved into the holiday season around our house. I love the simplicity that the holidays bring. Throwback Thursday to that one time I got it in my head to go get an MBA in the middle of being an Emergency Room Physician. Isn't Fall such a beautiful time of year? It’s my favorite seasona time of change and regeneration. The beauty surrounding us is so important to take in, whether it’s just the changing colors of the leaves, sweater weather, or my favorite pumpkin lattes. They are all good in my book. It’s fun to relish in the simple things in life. For me, experiences are much more important than things in life. Little boys...Possibly the sweetest little beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Sometimes it’s so beautiful watching your loved ones love on your other littles. Even on smokey days, there’s always cuddle time on the deck.

Friday is one of my favorite days of the week because it means I get to spend the weekend with this handsome fellow. I have to say that I love working, but I also really love my time at home with the crew that I love most. It’s always important to remember what we work for. Fall is my favorite time of year. The older I get, the more I want to spend my time and money on experiences rather than things. When you get to be outside, and canoe or spending time with family on a hike. When the wildfires and evacuations were going on through our little town of Grass Valley, and I had to collect all my precious items, I realized that if some of the things burned, it would be a bummer but that there wasn’t anything other than the heartbeats around me that really matter.
