Today is a special day for Salon Posh! Nine years ago today a young 27 year old me, signed the lease to her very first business. Ahh I remember the feelings that went through my body. I felt super excited, scared, but most of all proud!! ... Proud that I took the leap to what was once just a dream. Everything I have learned throughout these 9 years, cannot be taught by reading a book or taking a class. I’ve hired a team, let go of a few, rehired, some left, and others came. I dealt with shady, lazy people, and one who felt entitled. Lastly the one that almost shut it down for good, the Pandemic. Today I stand PROUD, because it takes someone who does not easily give up, a hard worker, STRONG, goal driven individual to survive what I’ve experienced. Owning a business is much tougher than many think. In the beginning, you have to work early mornings, late nights, 7 days a week, lose out on family and friend events, and so much more. But I can tell you this proudly, It’s worth every sacrifice!!! In @enos141 words I have experienced The Good , The Bad and The OMG!!! I wouldn’t be celebrating today without, my loyal clients, team and family! I can’t thank you enough for all your support especially during the pandemic. 1 more year till I finish out my lease. Making me a salon owner for a decade!! what an accomplishment that will be!! The best is yet to come! I do not own this music
