SAGE Halloween Pet Costume Contest 2020!!! With Halloween right around the corner, it's NOW time to HAVE SOME FUN! Submit a photo of your pet in a costume between NOW and Friday, October 30th! Winners will be announced Saturday, October 31st via Facebook. Here is how it works!... Step #1: Take a photo of your pet in their favorite costume! Pet parents, you can get in on the fun too with dressing up! Step #2: Submit your photo to [email protected], please include your name, pet name, and email address. Step #3: We will email the winners and announce on Facebook the morning of Halloween 10/31. We will choose the TOP THREE winners! Last Sunday, October 11th, over 550 Veterinarians, RVT's, Vet Techs, Practice Managers, Vet Staff, and Students came together (virtually) from across the country to attend our Virtual Symposium. For the past 20 years, SAGE has hosted a Small Annual Symposium for the veterinary community to earn CE through various workshops and learning options. Due to COVID-19, this year looked a bit different, but we could not fathom the idea of canceling this year's Symposium, as we know ho...w much this event means to our veterinary community. SAGE is honored to have taken this event virtually and have our SAGE Doctors, Technicians, and Management team members share what they know to help advance veterinary medicine and improve pet care. Happy National Veterinary Technician Week! Every year, we celebrate National Veterinary Technicians Week at SAGE and across our Community of Hospitals by taking time to applaud the team members that work side by side with our veterinarians and customer service coordinators to ensure our patients receive the best care available. Our vet techs and assistants interact with each of the 40,000 pets we see each year. They assist our veterinarians on the clinical floor and in the ...operating room, and they monitor pets’ medical treatment during their hospital stay. On the human side, they speak with pet parents to gather information about symptoms and answer questions about treatment. When it’s time for pets to go home, veterinary technicians provide pet owners with instructions on how to care for their pet after they leave the hospital. Happy Sunday! Here is a FANTASTIC PUPDATE! One year ago today, Fezzik the adorable Pug had hemilaminectomy surgery on his spine! SAGE Campbell's Neurologist, Dr. Christina Vitale and Dr. Ancier & the Therapy Team @holisticvetcare - were there to help him and his pet parent every step of the way.
