I would like to take the time to thank San Mateo County Vice President and Supervisor, David Canepa @SupervisorCanepa @supervisorcan here in California. He not only recognized my efforts to fight COVID and flatten the curve but awarded me a proclamation in my county and announced today, July 11th, Mizan Rupan-Tompkins Day!!! Below are the words from my acceptance speech. :) I would first like to thank God for making this day possible.... I would also like to thank everyone for coming out today. I would like to thank Supervisor David Canepa and his wife for recognizing my efforts to combat COVID. Thank you to my mother and father for always believing in me and guiding me on the right path. Thank you to friends and family for supporting me on my 10th birthday, by helping me purchase my first 3-D printer. I would have never imagined owning 9 of them today. Thank you to my Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu coaches at Evolve Training Center , here in South San Francisco, that still keep me mentally and physically fit during this pandemic through Zoom classes.
