At Oasis Nail Spa on Magnolia, safety practices have always been our first priority from the very beginning of our opening date 12 years ago and are still implementing them. With this recent epidemic, we have taken extra measures and following the regulations provided by the CDC, the Los Angeles County Health Department and Cal OSHA. We want to reassure our clients that we are doing everything possible to keep you and our staff safe. When we designed our Signature Copper... Bowls we had in mind the health benefits, safety factors, and the unique anti-bacterial properties that copper provides in eliminating bacteria within 20 seconds, and opened our salon with the concept of providing a peaceful, therapeutic atmosphere while minimizing our use of chemicals which makes us stand out above most salons. To demonstrate our dedication to keeping you safe and comfortable we have provided a brief list of some of the safety measures we have in place: -We are following the California State Board of Barbering & Cosmetology cleaning and sanitizing procedures. -All instruments are 100% sterilized by hospital grade standards and using the CDC guidelines in the use of the Autoclave system. -Pedicure and manicure bowls are lined with plastic liners. -Files, buffers, and other materials are disposed after each client. -All of our stations are thoroughly sanitized after each client use. -Our staff participates in a mandated body temperature check before work, they are required to wear masks, face guards, and gloves at all times while working. -Our staff has received training on all safety practices and have been re-certified in the use of Barbicide. -We practice social distancing for clients during our services and in the waiting areas. -We have installed plexi-glass barriers between our clients and nail technicians. - We have installed several air purifying systems in the salon. - We have placed hand sanitizer and disinfectant spray in various locations throughout the salon for easy access.

Dear Clients, friends and family, We have some good news and some confusing news. The State of California has approved nail salons along with other providers of personal care services to re-open on June 19, 2020. HOWEVER we are still waiting for the LA County Public Health Dept to give us the okay and the exact date of when we can re-open. Despite our business being closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and feeling hopeless, all of the staff from Oasis Nail Spa Magnolia got together to see if we could all make a difference in our wonderful City of Burbank, the city and the residents that have supported us over the past 12 years! We donated 200 KN-95 masks, 8 cases of disposable gloves and lots of gift card goodie bags for the staff there, so they can be pampered when we open back up for business because they so... very much deserve it!! We met up with Tracy Andrews (the RNs SEIU 121 Union representative), Sal Moreno, Joyce Powel (Providence Saint Joseph's union chapter President) and Pamela Augburn who came out to greet us and thanked us which was very sweet. A message to our clients and friends; First and most importantly, we hope you are all doing well and keeping safe! As you all know, as part of the efforts being made to keep everyone as safe as possible during these uncertain times, we have had to temporarily close our doors. We hope to reopen as soon as possible, depending on the guidelines issued by our City, State and Federal authorities. As many of you know we opened our salon in July 2008 and since then we have relied o...n our client base which includes the amazing people of Burbank as well as those who travel up to 40 miles to frequent our establishment, with that we are very grateful. Over the 11 years we have supported the community by donating to various fundraising groups to help raise money for their causes and contributing to local schools and charities.Because you all mean so very much to us and we appreciate you all! At Oasis Nail Spa, the health and well-being of our customers, associates, and communities is our top priority. We understand the concern and uncertainty you may be experiencing surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and we are committed to being responsive to the needs of our customers and associates as the situation evolves. In addition to our regular sanitation procedures, we are taking extra precautions during this time including continuing to use our four-step process to... sanitize our tools and instruments which includes the autoclave system. Our staff is wearing disposable gloves and masks and changing them with each client. Oasis has always used hospital grade disinfectant cleaners, spray and hand sanitizer and are continuing to do so. Our pedicure bowls are now lined with disposable plastic liners. The salon doesn't have chemical smells like acrylic and now implements an air purifier. Inside Oasis Spa you are surrounded by plants which help produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide. We will be continuing to monitor the situation and make any necessary changes to aid in preventing the spread of the virus.
