Healthy father involvement can serve as a preventative factor for families at risk for child abuse. This #FathersDay, Safe & Sound's Parent Advisory Committee celebrated our community's father figures with a family event filled with fun activities and food. We are honored to collaborate with our father figures to strengthen families!

National Reunification Month is celebrated in June of each year to recognize the people and efforts around the country that help families stay together. These families have overcome obstacles to provide a safe and loving home for their children after their child was placed in the child welfare system. Throughout the month of June, we acknowledge the hard work and determination of parents who accomplish the goal of reunifying with their children, as well as the dedicated professionals that support them.

Our families not only enjoyed a delicious meal from @whatthecluckus, but also had a friendly interaction with one of our board members, Neeracha. Thanks to her generosity, commitment, and support in keeping families strong and children safe. We appreciate her involvement in the board committee and volunteer work. Congrats Class of 2021 for achieving so much especially during the difficult time of COVID. We celebrated and honored our young graduates in our community and couldn’t be more proud of their dedication on education.

The 9th Annual Russian River Ride is only two days away! With extra health & safety precautions, our riders will continue their tradition of cycling 200 miles to support our programs & services. We are deeply grateful for the riders’ determination, commitment, & passion. We appreciate the tremendous support from our community. Last year’s ride raised over $85K! With the world being in pause during COVID-19, our kids are still growing and learning.
