GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!! Well.....Safer Arms as a gun range is no more unfortunately. There will be a lot of work and lead abatement going on here in the very near future, so unfortunately there will be no more shooting here at the shop! But that being said......I still have a good amount of inventory that needs to be sold!!!! This includes a lot of guns that are still up for grabs!!!! This also includes almost all of the displays and fixtures in the shop! The entire inventory (except guns, which are priced, but negotiable for reasonable offers) is going to be 35% OFF as of right now!!!!! Come on in and see if there is something I have left that you could possibly use!!!!! I have a lot of scopes, self defense ammo, 7.62 x 39 ammo, holsters, gun grips, knives....etc etc!!!! 35% OFF All Of It!!!!!!!!

Due to this, as of right now everything in the store (excluding guns) is going to be 25% off!!!! Items for sale will include most of the fixtures in the store and will be on an offer made basis!!!! Hello again everyone! Just letting you all know that we STILL have some rental guns that are up for sale!!!!! A good number of them have been sold, but there are still some good ones left in the case!!!! Need to hurry and check out the deals! A DROS will need to be completed at the very least by the end of the month so you can get your 10 day wait period in before the doors close sometime early next month!!! There are still a few LEO guns that are here in case any of you eligible to purchase these guns are interested!!!! HURRY HURRY HURRY! Hello everyone!!!! I am letting you all know that ALL of our Rental Gun selection is up for SALE!!!!! This will be a first come, first serve type of thing!!! Most of them will be a dealer used sale and WILL be subject to the "One handgun every 30 days" rule for our wonderful state. I also have a few that will be only offered to LEO's since they are not on the roster any longer. If you want a good deal, head on down and check out what we have to offer. I would bet some of them will not last long!!!! Have a safe 4th of July out there!!!!! We will be closed on the 4th just so you know!!!! On another note....due to a software issue....our card reader is not working at all!!!! So any transaction will need to be in CASH or CHECK form for right now. Sorry for that inconvenience, but it is what we are currently dealing with!!!!

Hello everyone!!! Just letting you know that our Range will be closed for maintenance and some testing for the remainder of today (Friday 13th) and the whole day tomorrow (Saturday 14th)!!!!! The shop will still be open, but the range itself will be closed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. The Range will be back open for shooting by Tuesday the 17th at 10 AM!!!! Hello Everyone! I hope the Holiday season is treating everyone well! A few weeks back I posted an article about the availability of surplus 1911's and possibly some other models of guns such as M1 Garands and M1 Carbines. I just received a bit more information regarding how to go about possibly getting some of these guns, and I wanted to post that info since there were numerous questions about how to obtain any of them. The CMP Board of Directors has discussed at length h...ow the sales of 1911s would be handled, if the CMP were to ever receive them from the United States Army. Some preliminary decisions: Decisions concerning the grade and pricing of the 1911s will not be made until inspection has occurred of a substantial quantity which will take an estimated 150 days post receipt. All laws pertaining to the sale of 1911s by CMP will be strictly obeyed. Potential purchasers will have to provide to CMP a new set of documents exhibiting: 1) proof of U.S. Citizenship, 2) proof of membership in a CMP affiliated club, 3) proof of participation in a marksmanship activity, 4) a new form 2A with notary, 5) successful completion of a NICS background check, 6) a signed copy of the 01 Federal Firearms License in which the 1911 will be transferred to. The CMP customer will be required to complete a form 4473 in person and successfully complete another NICS check by the recipient FFL holder before the pistol can be transferred. Qualified CMP customer will only be allowed to purchase one 1911 per calendar year. No 1911s available in the CMP stores, or on line, only mail order sales. CMP will set the date in which it will accept orders for the 1911s. The date will be posted to the world. Orders will only be accepted via mail order delivery. Orders will only be accepted post marked on the date or after, no early orders. Once CMP receives 10,000 orders, customer names will be loaded into the Random Number Generator. The Random Number Generator will provide a list of names in sequence order through a random picking process to CMP. Customers will be contacted in the sequence provided by the Random Number Generator. When the customer is contacted a list of 1911 grades and pricing options that are available will be offered for selection of one.
