As the weather turns colder, we're doing even more to keep our customers safe! We've added a Levoit Air Purifier to our already rigorous disinfecting and sanitizing procedures. Turning the air over 5 times an hour, this air purifier features 3 stages of filtration, working in harmony to clean your air. The preliminary filter catches large particles like lint, fibers, and pet fur. Smaller particles pass on to the True HEPA filter, which captures 99.97% of airborne contaminants as small as 0.3 microns. So you can feel safe knowing that this air filter, (combined with continued mask wearing and ongoing rigorous sanitizing) adds an additional level of safety when you come in for your tattoo or piercing. Hot Damn! The county just announced tattoo and piercing parlors can open again today with modifications, so call us to schedule your appointment for a tattoo or piercing today! It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that our friend and former tattoo artist at Sacramento Tattoo & Piercing Drew (Andrew) Howell passed away earlier this year. He was a positive force at Sacramento Tattoo, embracing not only the art of tattooing but sewing and costume design, literature, and music. He brought his intellectual curiosity to his work, often researching the subjects he would tattoo before taking on a project. He left Sacramento Tattoo to pursue o...ne of his many interests, travel, but always stayed in touch with the shop, stopping in when he was back in town. His daughter Ariana Howell and many loving friends survive him. Donations can be made in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Drew was Type 1 Diabetic and always hoped they’d find a cure so that other children didn’t have to go through what he went through.

As you have all heard by now, a new Shut Down order was put in place July 14, 2020 for Sacramento, which means we are required to be closed again, darn it! If you have an appointment scheduled, please contact your artist immediately to make arrangements. We appreciate the continued love and support of our community as we all navigate this unprecedented time. We continue to do our part to help get this virus under control so we can hurry up and start tattooing and piercing again!

Due to new statewide mandates the shop is closed till further notice. If you already have an appointment scheduled please get in touch as soon as possible so we can discuss options. Remember, it is up to each of us to do our part to get this virus under control. This means wearing a mask in public, staying home if you don't feel well or may have been exposed to the virus, and practicing physical distancing. Be safe, be well, but above all, be responsible.

The Shelter in Place order has been extended to May 22, 2020 and all non-essential businesses such as tattoo parlors and piercing studios must remain closed until further notice.
