Team IRD took on Rancho Murieta this past weekend to bring home ribbons in every class! Cisco Kid had a stronger Prix Saint Georges test than the last show and competed in his first I1 with room to grow. He’s starting to develop into something special Wynne and Eclipse put in two solid Grand Prix tests each day. Eclipse is getting stronger in the GP ring and turning into a little hot shot pro ... Filharmonic stepped out of the shadows for the first time since moving out to California last year and did his first ever third level test both days without skipping a beat! Jasper gave us so much... Born into abuse, but he gave us his trust. A stout mustang frame, but he gave us his reach. A gentle soul, but he gave us his all. Last week we lost our super pony to a sudden & complicated colic. Several nights in the hospital, treatments & surgeries.. we did everything imaginable to keep him with us. We are still shocked and so deeply saddened to lose him. Jasper will always be remembered as the little man that could. He defied all the odds, and became an instant fan favorite. He gave us so much joy & memories to cherish. We are greatly devastated that we lost our super pony. The underdog who showed up all the fancy warmbloods and brought home many blue ribbons. He had a special place in the hearts of everyone who met him. He was our little superhero and we miss him dearly.
