We just won another case! A "Fully Favorable Decision" (which means we got everything that we asked for!) Concurrent Case (Client was eligible for both SSI and SSDI). I am very happy for my client. He had a strong work history, but his impairments have made it impossible for him to work for more than 2 years now. Thanks to my Assistant Gage for all of her work in helping to pull all of the necessary paperwork together. ... This decision puts my win rate at greater than 80%. Despite the victory, the Payment Centers are dreadfully behind in getting payments out, so...we power on waiting for the funds to be released.

Stop the Wait Act. Probably the most important piece of legislation we support right now. Once approved for benefits, you should NOT have to wait an additional 6 months for assistance.

2 wins in the past month. One Claimant was granted benefits back to July 2004. That is 15 years of benefits! I worked hard on this case and it is so gratifying to have a Favorable Decision . 2nd win was without hearing....so rare, and my client was so happy, he thanked me 5 times in one phone call!... This work is beyond rewarding, which is not to say we don't have our challenges. At the end of the day, week or month, the challenges are absolutely worth the reward.
