An email from Dr Keller today included this important paragraph: "We recognize the stress and anxiety that the rise in COVID-19 cases is causing for many of our students and families. Our counselors, teachers, administrators, and staff are here to support you. Additionally, RBUSD provides a number of social/emotional resources that families can access at little to no cost. We offer both family and community resources." Visit rbusd.org and click on "Social Emotional Programs" under the Parents and Students heading, or visit South Bay Families Connected listed below if you or someone you know is struggling.
For all our families with younger children... A special board meeting has been called to discuss the return to school for TK and Kinder
Some background on FlowerTruckLA: after the co-owner saw the business next door to him throwing away thousands of roses, he set out to save his floral business from the perils of the pandemic. A few phone calls and a truck rental later, and Flower Truck LA was born! Now the company partners with several charities and non-profits to give back to the communities that have supported them. Since they started their small business in March, FlowerTruckLA has given over $50,000 to local charities and schools!
Please spread the word! Let's help our neighbors this Holiday Season!
