Our 8th graders had the privilege to serve at the Operation Christmas Child processing center here in Orange County last week. They safely packed well over 2000 shoeboxes that will travel the world to third world counties. Each box is packed with small necessities like tooth brushes and school supplies as well as fun wow toys and will go to children who in many cases have never received a gift in their life. 2nd grade went on a walking field trip to the arroyo across the street from school! This was a part of a science unit all on seeds and plants. The students covered their shoes with socks and walked around the arroyo to see what would stick!
