Hi folks, just wanted to remind everybody out there that if you ever get in a car accident, one of top reasons that you will not be fully compensated for your injuries are large gaps in treatment. The longer you go without treatment the worse your case gets. Don't wait for the police report to come out before you start seeking medical treatment because that can take weeks to even a month. Don't wait for the insurance company to return your phone calls because they're not ther...e to protect your legal rights. Hi folks, I want to remind everybody of this rule after you've gotten in a car accident with a HIT and RUN driver. You have to report it to your insurance company AND YOU MUST REPORT IT TO THE COPS WITHIN 24 HOURS. It's crucial to your case and if you don't, it can result in a denial of coverage.That means your precious ride will not be repaired and your medical bills will not get paid. Obviously, the insurance company will not tell you this. Actually, they will tell you later when they say "We are denying you coverage because you didn't report it to the police too within 24 hours."
