Happy birthday, Bella! This water-loving Rottie turned 3 years old this week. Her mom and dad say that she fills their life with love. Isn't that perfect?

Available for adoption. Chummy is a very nice Rottweiler fusion. She was found abandoned in the hills. Chummy is a young female, has never met a stranger. Easy to walk on a leash, and very mellow. We place our dogs in So. Cal only. If your interested in Chummy, please go to our website rottrescuela.org. Fill out our adoption application and someone will get back to you.

"Mom!!! Don't you dare post this picture. You'll ruin my street cred! I only allowed The Feline Devil to be close to me because I was tired and it was so comfy and cozy on the couch. But I'll never give in like that again. So you can't post this. Pinkie promise that you won't post this?" "Piper, I am so posting this."

Thank you to Shylo's mom for giving her an exceptional home! Thanks to a proper introduction, Shylo and her tiny pack mate get along well. Thanks to diet and exercise, Shylo has shed nearly 30 lbs. And thanks to ongoing obedience training, Shylo is a good girl who is even willing to wear bows in her hair.

"Thanks for letting me lick the Cool Whip container, Mom! Could you please wipe the Cool Whip mustache off my snout for me?" Yep, dogs love sweets but before you give them anything sweet make sure it doesn't contain xylitol, an artificial sweetener that is toxic to dogs.

Nemo continues to rock at scent work. Look at all those ribbons! Don't ever underestimate what a rescue dog (and a senior dog - Nemo is 11) can do.

Hi RRLA! It’s Fynn. I’m so happy here. They let me watch the fish show in the living room. I love watching them! Right now they say it is the Halloween special show. It has scary monsters with the fish. It is fun!

Available for adoption. Say hi to Coco, she is a 2 year old young lady. Coco is a very happy friendly girl. She has been an outside dog, so has no knowledge of house manners. Coco will need to attend obedience classes, as all good Rottweilers should. She would do well in a home with male dogs. If your interested in adopting this pretty lady, please go to our website Rottrescuela.org and fill out our adoption application. Please make sure to answer all questions on your application. Our dogs are only available for adoption in the So. Cal area.

For those who posted questions about Kona, please see the instructions below which were given in the original post: RRLA is helping Kona find her new home. If you're interested in welcoming Kona to your family, please call Beverly at 818-399-6724. "Hi, I’m Kona. I’m a 3 year old female (spayed) Rottweiler with a super cute docked tail. I love people, kids (aged 10 & over because I may bump into smaller ones by accident), dogs (of all sizes), cats & kittens, and most of allm...y ball! I would love to be part of your active family/home. My previous owner couldn’t take me with him due to breed & size restrictions. My best friend, Gina, has been taking amazing care of me and is trying to help me find my furever home. I’m in great health but I do have allergies and they are controlled by a special diet along with some anti-allergy medications. I’m also taking Bravecto every 3 months for flea & tick prevention. If you like, Gina can provide you with my medical history. She’s also hoping I’ll stay within the Southern California area and that her adopter will send her pictures and updates, periodically. Hi everyone, it's Piper. I need to tell you that the past few days have been a bit scary. Mom and dad got really worried about me and took me to the vet (my dad had to push me inside because I'm so sick of going there and, of course, because of that COVID stuff, he couldn't come in with me). Anyway, I digress. The vet took my blood again, without my permission, and the next thing I knew I was hearing mom and dad say things like "blood transfusion" and "the vet says her number...s scare the crap out of him" and "spontaneous bleeding" (that sounds awful, doesn't it?) and "bubble dog" (which means I can't play, chew my bones, or take a walk or I may do that spontaneous bleeding thing). So I'm just lying around, taking a bunch of medications, and hoping my blood stays where it's supposed to and that I get more red blood cells and platelets (don't I sound learned?) In the meantime, Whisper the Skinny Husky gets to take a walk and it's not fair. He should have to just lie around with me. You know what would really help me feel better? Medicinal pizza puffs. Can you send some, please? Your friend, Piper See more

Advice from Harley and Buttercup: Life requires many rest stops.

Rottweiler Rescue of Los Angeles, Inc. 05.07.2020

When Whisper the Skinny Husky and I are feeling stressed by the woes of the human-centric world we live in, we seek solace in nature. It centers us. Plus, we may find bear poop to roll in. Or moose poop to eat. Nature is healing, don't you think, my Rottie friends? Love, Piper P.S. Whisper and I love to make mom crazy by refusing to look at the camera at the same time. She may have cursed a little bit.
