Rotta Winery

One of the most challenging parts of moving a vineyard to organic is weed control around the vines. Normally it has to be done by hand with hoes. Here is a new mechanical weeder we are trialing at the Hollyhock vineyard and will be moving to Rotta. Wine club emails are going out this week - Rotta wine club members will have the opportunity to choose some of the Hollyhock Rhone wines as well. -Bill

We continue on our journey as new owners and proprietors of Rotta Winery. We spent the past four months tasting through 300 barrels to find the 30 best ones and commenced blending and preparation. The Rose fruit was harvested by our friends and family on the first day of ownership. -Julie and Bill Lapp
