**2020 Golf Tournament Update** Rotary Friends, Supporters, Golfers, and Volunteers: As you may have concluded by now, we have postponed our 19th Annual Golf Tournament and Auction that was scheduled for June 15th. We were hopeful that things would improve in time to hold the event, however better judgment has prevailed as we keep the safety of everyone involved foremost in our thoughts. We will re-evaluate the situation and our options later in the year. Meanwhile we wil...l focus on finding other ways to continue conducting our community service programs. We have already made plans for a new project where we will distribute face masks to senior citizens. Thank you for all of your past support and participation. Please do not lose sight of the terrible toll of COVID-19 or the threat that it continues to present. As we have new information regarding rescheduling of the Golf Tournament, we will let you know. The Club celebrated its 90th Anniversary with dinner and a program at the California Country Club on March 6th. President Ron McPeak led the festivities. The La Puente Mayor Charlie Klinakis presented a proclamation and Dwight Bouty surprised all attendees with commemorative t-shirts and cookies shaped like the Rotary wheel. Former Club Presidents described favorite moments during their terms.
