I was so shy, (seriously, I was, I promise!) and I honestly i just was so worried about making mistakes and how people perceived me that I couldn’t ever just enjoy the moment. Who loves to try new tools out?! I got this 3 barrel waver off of amazon and the first attempt left me a fizzy ! But after a few tweaks and trying out different ways of using it technique is my fav! Here’s the breakdown: ... 1. I split it into 5 sections starting at the bottom and working my way up 2. Start and end with the curling iron 3. When using the waver bend the edge away from the root for the first wave so you don’t get a weird crimp in it 4. I like to pull the waver off the hair each section and get it set in the right place instead of moving it down without knowing where the wave starts and stops 5. Use @igkhair dry shampoo and beach spray to give it major surfer vibes 6. Hating change looks like avoiding it, running from it, Pushing against it, crying about it and the reality is, it STILL HAPPENS. So here’s the deal. I am choosing to change how I feel about change. (See what I did there? ) It doesn’t mean that it will be graceful at first, changing your mindset rarely does, but instead of hating it, I choose to to view change as , to look at it curiously instead of deciding that it is bad, to not be tied to outcomes but instead take a deep breath, pivot and look at it as an adventure. Well this is , but I feel like this photo was taken about 10 years ago even though it was taken in June!
