We’re all missing our wonderful Rosa Parks community! And daily morning yard exercises (Rajio Taiso, Zumba, Cha-Cha Slide) . Our mascot misses everyone too and says don't forget the school pledge.

Next FRIDAY, Sept 25th is our VIRTUAL BINGO NIGHT! Invite your friends, family, coworkers -- and support our wonderful public school. This adults-only FUNdraiser is hosted by the amazing Peachy Springs. Just a $10 donation to play/1 game card. Or donate $ for extra cards! (Ex: $50=5 cards; $100=10 cards). Tech Backpack Drive: We'll be in the Fillmore this Saturday 12-3pm handing out backpacks & supplies to 500 low income and homeless students in grades 3-12. The backpacks will have tech supplies, books, and gift cards, and much more. Please SPREAD the word!

See welcome note from the school office: Rosa Parks families Welcome back to another year at Rosa Parks! We will be starting the year with distance learning. There are no in-person classes right now. The first day of school is Monday, August 17. Teachers will be reaching out to you or your child to get started.... TECHNOLOGY At the end of this week and early next week (see the schedule below), we will be distributing technology devices. To sign up for a device, go to: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSdNwDuwC1A10G04D8/viewform or go to sfusd.edu click on the heading that says "Need to Borrow Technology"and click on "Fall 2020 Technology Request Form" PARENTVUE ParentVue access key codes will be passed out with packets and you can call and ask the office to help. To activate your account, use your access/key code at sfusd.edu/activate (instructions) portal.sfusd.edu (ParentVue) ParentVue is where you can see who your child's teacher will be and also access things like report cards and attendance records, not to mention messages from the teacher. QUESTIONS/HELP If you do not have an email address or need any help, please call the school number 415-749-3519 Mon Friday between 9 and 4. FORMS Forms like school meal applications and your child’s emergency card can be completed online and will most likely be available through ParentVue. This will go live on Monday, August 17. Yay, Rosa Parks an eco-winner in SFUSD Earth Day Every Day Challenge! Congratulations to the winners of the 2019-2020 SFUSD Earth Day Every Day Challenge! SFUSD created the Earth Day Every Day Challenge to instill a culture of environmental stewardship and encourage action in support of the District's sustainability goals.
