Join us at Padre Serra Parish in celebrating our Top Ten Awards on Friday, March 20, 2020. Music Freqs (Formerly Rock City Studios) winning Business of the Year is truly an amazing honor. Many thanks to those who nominated us. Music Freqs is locally owned and operated by a family having historic agricultural roots in the area and a legacy of support for music and the arts. After taking over the music studio six years ago, our team’s goal was to make a multi-purpose music facility catering to every child and adult. We substantially expanded our lesson programs and became leaders in many community events. We completely remodeled the interior and installed a new state of the art sound system, a new recording studio and became one of the first video immersive venues in the United States. We substantially expanded last year to provide more services including a full live outdoor concert sound system. We are excited about our latest addition this year - a music retail store. We know that art programs are integral to any strong community and that is what prompted us to be in the heart of Camarillo. Music enriches lives and is the universal language. We currently teach over 230 weekly students and provide scholarships to those in need. We lead live concert events and festivals in our community. We serve all ages from children to retirees. We love being a major contributor to the growth of the community that we call home. We will continue our mission of community participation and involvement. You will see our student bands performing at events this year. Community involvement and providing a place for families to get together for the mutual love of music is a key part of our business. Camarillo is a truly special place for us as it is our home and fills our hearts!
