This year the ROBOLIGHTS annual art and light display is in Detroit located at MOCAD, the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit 4454 Woodward Ave and open. I invite everyone to come and enjoy this all newly built massive art installation complete with a train ride at the Mike Kelly Homestead. I built it over a period of 68 days with more than 800 man hours invested into it and the people of the museum where an incredible help. If I had to guess they brought in atleast fifty half... semi size truckloads of locally sourced junk which were hauled in so I could create all the art not including all the other donated items that were brought in from the people of Detroit over the entire build period. This is a great article, you can also see my talented sister Lisa play the piano in the video at ROBOLIGHTS. It’s everything you know and love about ROBOLIGHTS in Palm Springs but an all entirely new experience for you to explore and enjoy with a Detroit vibe after all it’s a why not world in a why world https://www.google.com//dazzling-robolig/%3foutputType=amp See more
