Photo Series4 - As long as they are fighting our fires I’ll keep posting photos showing and thanking them. And I’ll say it each time, I’m truly amazed at their ...bravery and compassion! Tonight I’m featuring shots from some of the earlier days. Again, thanks from the bottom of our hearts! #holyfire And I’d like to see your shots as well, especially from those tankers close to Horsethief back yards which was so amazing!
Photo Series2 - As long as they are fighting our fires I’ll keep posting photos showing and thanking them. And I’ll say it each time, I’m truly amazed at their ...bravery and compassion! Tonight I’m featuring shots from today showing a combination of fire spark-ups and those working hard to put them out or prevent others. Again, thanks from the bottom of our hearts! #holyfire See more
Photo Series3 - As it seems to be getting a little more back to normal for us, ongoing fire operations continue. And I’ll say it each time, I’m truly amazed at ...their bravery, hard work, and compassion! Tonight I’m featuring one specific area I had a chance to visit today where workers were working all day doing the things that help prevent start-ups from occurring. And let me tell you it was hot, very ashy, and very steep in parts. Again, thanks from the bottom of our hearts! If your kids don’t have anything to do on Wednesday, some additional Thank You from Temescal Valley signs or from your community would be a nice project. #holyfire
Over the last week I’ve witnessed amazing bravery and compassion from first responders ... I’m so thankful on so many levels! Tonight I’ll feature the helicopte...rs who I watched for most of the day diligently protecting the Northern rim while putting out various spark-ups, some rather large. Words can’t truly express my/our sincere gratitude and hope for their safety! #holyfire See more
Stay safe out there everyone and good luck! Ok, here’s a little mental break from fire activities, a grid of some of the shots from last month’s photo them... Keeping Cool In Temescal Valley! I’ll post the selected photo later today and show all of the entries as well. Based on what we are experiencing, this month’s theme is Public Safety Heroes so let’s see your shots of Fire, Sheriff, Citizen volunteers, etc. helping us in our time of need (now or before). Of course, all shots should be from safe distances where we aren’t impacting their duties or putting ourselves or others at risk. Remember, if you happen to see them on a break, a little thanks goes along way and water and snacks would likely be greatly appreciated!
