The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all areas of daily life for people around the state, nation, and world. Testing for this virus can be extremely helpful if you have to travel, undergo medical procedures, if you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, or if you become ill. Unfortunately, it can be hard to find a testing site, inconvenient to schedule a test or to get one, and often it can be very expensive. At Riviera ENT, we are proud to offer COVID-19 nasopharyng...eal swab testing to all ages of patients in the comfort of your own car or in an outside area adjacent to our office. Being specialists in ear, nose, and throat issues, it's our business to understand the best way to perform these tests, and we aim to do so in a compassionate and friendly environment. We can schedule most tests within 1-2 business days (appointments available Monday to Friday), and results generally take between 2-4 days to return. We charge $75, payable by cash, check, or credit card, as a convenience fee for each sample. We also have experience working with larger groups, such as if some employees develop COVID in a small- or medium-sized business, and a cohort of workers require testing. HOW TO SCHEDULE: 1. It is imperative that you include your insurance information if you have health insurance as this must be included with your sample for testing, and that the form be completed before calling us. If you don't have insurance, this can be indicated. This can be done on a computer, phone or tablet and there is no printing required. 2. When is dizziness vertigo? Vertigo is the unpleasant (often, very frightening) sensation of the world rotating, often associated with nausea and sometimes even with vomiting. This is distinct from the lightheaded feeling that some may feel when standing up too quickly, which is related to blood pressure and blood flow to the brain....
