So exciting to have ABC and NBC news interview our Faith In Motion Manager, Irene, in Riverside as faith partners and volunteers assemble beautiful graduation baskets for youth in foster care. Although we are not able to give the class of 2020 a graduation party, Riverside faith partners have donated hundreds of gift cards, baskets filled with goodies, candy leis and laptops for college-bound students. The Inland Empire Disabilities Collaborative (IEDC) will award 4 scholarships to people with disabilities who are pursuing their undergraduate, graduate, or vocational/technical degree. Application will need to be submitted by May 31, 2020 with a 1,000-word essay and a Resume. More information is at www.iedisabilities.org.

Although the graduation event was canceled for our youth in foster care, we are still celebrating their accomplishments! We are collecting gift baskets/cards. If you’d like more information on how to join in, please contact [email protected].

Over 3,500 masks have been collected so far for the foster youth, social workers, the elderly and vulnerable! Masks are going out as fast as they are coming in. THANK YOU to our faith partners, friends and organizations who donated masks and more are on the way. Together we are making a difference.
