MARINA BOAT FIRE TRAINING River Delta Fire District River Delta Firefighters constantly challenge themselves with various training scenarios. Whether a boat is underway or in a marina, parked in a boat slip or stored. Boats and marinas pose special challenges and hazards to land based Firefighting. Pictured below Montezuma water tender 51 and three Engines Companies from River Delta Fire District perform hose evolutions at Park Delta Marina.... This 4 hour training session began with a classroom session in which our engine companies reviewed videos, examined case studies of actual marina fires and apply strategy and tactics to marinas in our jurisdiction. We appreciate Montezuma Fire District for supporting our training and LB Merritt for the drone overhead photos. Your support and is greatly appreciated! #OurCommunityOurPriority #OurCommunityBeforeOurselve #yourLifeOurMission
